Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings' Morris is getting his own plush toy and it captures his adorableness quite well. Shang-Chi was released in theaters on September 3, 2021, and has been a huge hit with audiences. Simu Liu stars in the titular role of Shang-Chi, a martial arts master who becomes ensnared in the Ten Rings organization led by his father, Xu Wenwu (Tony Leung). Along the journey, he forms a team consisting of his best friend Katy (Awkwafina) and his estranged sister Xu Xialing (Meng'er Zhang). However, the comic relief of the film comes from a familiar MCU face - Trevor Slattery (Ben Kingsley) who made his debut as the fake Mandarin in Iron Man 3. When Trevor makes his comedic appearance, he brings with him a mystical faceless creature, Morris, who quickly enraptured audiences with his cuteness.

In response to the hype around Morris, The Disney Store has made his plush toy available for pre-order. Morris truly comes to life in the adorable soft plush that replicates his faceless body, intricate wings, and six legs. While the toy is perfect as a cuddle-buddy, it can also jump into action when needed with its movable wings. Check out the toy below:

The Morris plush, available for pre-order for $39.99, captures the adorable sidekick very well. Morris' popularity isn't only fostered by his adorableness but also for his unique ties to Chinese mysticism. Similar to the lion guardians of Ta Lo, Morris is also a mystical creature belonging to Chinese mythology. Morris is a mystical beast known as DiJiang from ancient Chinese text "Classic of Mountains and Seas." Morris' background in mythology fits well with the premise of Shang-Chi that strives for diversity and inclusivity. Thus, the Morris plush is not only a replica of Trevor's adorable sidekick, but also a piece of the Chinese history that makes up the roots of Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings.
