Sony Pictures has released the first clip from Jason Reitman’s “Ghostbusters: Afterlife,” the 60-second bit sees Paul Rudd’s teacher Mr. Grooberson encountering multiple miniature Mr. Stay Pufts.

The Stay Puft Marshmallow Man, the fictional mascot for a marshmallow product, appeared in the original 1984 “Ghostbusters” and remains one of the most iconic designs from the franchise.

This marks the first new footage from the project in over a year following the first two trailers being released in December 2019.

The film serves as a direct sequel to the original two movies and will focus on a family with Carrie Coon as the single mother of two kids – a science-obsessed daughter (Mckenna Grace) and gearhead son (Finn Wolfhard) while Paul Rudd plays their school teacher Mr. Grooberson.

The family moves to a small town in Oklahoma after inheriting property from Coon’s character’s father whom she didn’t know. When they arrive they begin to discover their connection to the original Ghostbusters. Trevor and Phoebe are about to find out who their grandfather was and whether they’re ready to pick up the proton pack themselves.

Oliver Cooper and Bokeem Woodbine also star whilst original stars Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Ernie Hudson, Sigourney Weaver, and Annie Potts will all appear in the film which opens November 11th.
