Venom Has A Shocking Link To Marvel's New Armored Hero

In the latest issue of Marvel Comics' Planet of the Symbiotes, the grandson of Venom known as Toxin has found a new host during Marvel's King in Black event, which leads to a surprising connection to the newest armored hero (who might not be all that heroic). In the midst of the chaos of Knull's invasion with his symbiote hordes, a new version of Toxin and host Bren Walker are trying to get used to one another, trying to figure what kind of symbiote they want to be going forward in Marvel Comics.

According to the symbiote himself in the issue from writer Steve Orlando with art by Gerardo Sandoval, Toxin had been so weakened at the time of Knull's invasion, that the God of Symbiotes didn't even bother trying to assimilate him into his dark army. Instead, Toxin was found and rescued by teenager Bren Walker, who seems to be having a harder time controlling Toxin's darker urges than Toxin's first host Pat Mulligan (who's now dead). Being the 1000th symbiote in Venom and Carnage's lineage, he's quite possibly stronger than both of them, yet this also means he's more volatile. Combined with his shared youth with his host Bren, it certainly seems as though the pair are going to have to ride out some growing pains.
