A. Tell us something about yourself?

I am one of the few screenwriters in LA who make a living at it but I should add I came out here when I was about 19 and I'm 35 now so it takes time.

I love anything classic TV and Movies especially. I been at PTP since 2010/2011 ditto BTN. I used to be on TV-Vault but didn't use it for a long time and tragically lost my account which I regret to this day. I have a great ratio on PTP because of my seedbox and have downloaded 3-4 Classic Films for last five years and make a habit to watch all three that day. I love classic films and when Iloveclassics shut down I was sick.

I've been with half a dozen trackers for almost a decade and others for less time. I always have great ratio and am here to either trade or outright purchase an invite to tv-vault so if you have one, please message me.

B. How did you find InviteHawk?

I used IH years ago for a couple invites and had a wonderful experience each time.

C. What Torrent Sites are you looking for? (Mention none if just browsing)

TV-Vault is my white whale and anything else devoted to classics TV and film. However with the trackers I already have TV-Vault has the stuff I can't find anywhere else.

D. Do you use the same email on InviteHawk as well as on trackers? (If yes, change it from your profile or contact a staff member)

No

E. Do you have any suggestions for InviteHawk?

No

Not when you're a classic film junkie and build a collection for a decade. I write for TV to keep the lights on. I am actually quite disheartened by the state of film today. Very very rarely is there one of quality. Plus the philosophy now is to entice the consumer with a good name or idea but not execute a quality product. They want butts in seats buying popcorn and superhero merch.

Personally in PTPs case I love the idea, it gives young people exposure to films they'd otherwise never see and it's a way of cataloging all the films good or bad. If I had PTP in the 90s growing up I'd have learned so much so sooner of film.

Plus the industry isn't the same anymore. It's better to give access to what's been done and get people to make good films again. I'm tired of superheroes and flat pictures. The longer this goes on the audience will forget why we have movies in the first place to have an emotional experience. If you get one from the avengers more power to you. But in regards to "pirating" I see what we do as trading our collections. They make enough in the BO whether the film is good or bad.

I've turned to other countries for my entertainment it's so bad. If they made films or shows like italys Gomorrah we'd be better off. That was just a personal snip.

Long story short I'm all for it. In fact we should improve the system to introduce films to audience in the trackers they otherwise never heard of.

I'm more about culturing the people. Plus between you and me there are so many new ways of monetizing entertainment these days anyone complaining about piracy is full of shit. They're doing just fine off streaming royalties alone. I know I am.

Be well.

@Drbloodmoney It makes me happy to hear those words from you. Especially about the quality. I rarely watch new movies, I have no clue what came out in the past years. If I see something on Trakt.tv, Rotten Tomatoes or some blog that has high rating from both critics and users then I consider watching it. Most of my favorite movies were made in 70's, 80's and 90's (Godfather, Shawshank Redemption, Goodfellas, Magnolia, Schindler's List, Memento, Alien, The Silence of the Lambs just to name a few). I hate almost all DC and Marvel adaptations as I already know the plot. Every action and superhero movie is the same: good guy with troubled past has to fight for justice/save to world and he/she succeds. Hurray...

When I was in art college, learning photography and filming, we had to study alot of movies. Had to watch quite a few David Lynch as well and without piracy we wouldn't have had any chance to get our hands on those around 2010. No Netflix, Google Play or other services available while video rental stores have pretty much closed already.

At least nowadays there are more and more companies who give their softwares for free to students because they understand that it's not a loss of profit. One day when those students graduate they might actually start using those softwares at their workplaces where they buy those licenses.

I just hope one day the whole movie industry realises that most people aren't pirating because it's their hobby but because they have no access or can't afford it otherwise.
